The entire self-climbing sequence depends on custom-engineered telescoping hardware. Key components include the telescoping cage (climbing frame), high-strength joint pins, guide rollers, hydraulic cylinders, climbing beams, and safety pawls. If any single weldment or material component exhibits fatigue, structural failure is risk-magnified under wind loads and shifting centers of gravity.
